Mark grew up in Denver and obtained his undergraduate education at the University of Colorado. After attending law school in California, he was immediately hired by the Nathan, Bremer, Dumm & Myers as a law clerk. As soon as he passed the bar exam, he was thrown into the world of litigation.

Since 1978, he has tried civil trials and administrative hearings all over the State of Colorado. He has devoted the majority of his work to the insurance practice. He practices before the Division of Workers' Compensation at both the hearing and appellate levels. His practice includes insurance law and defense of civil actions founded in professional liability, insurance bad faith, product liability claims and negligence throughout the State of Colorado and before the United States District Court. Mark is a member of the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Colorado Bar Association and the Arapahoe County Bar Association.

Mark lectures and gives presentations to employers and claim’s handling organizations. Upon request, he serves as an arbitrator in selected civil cases and as a mediator.
